Hi, I'm
Chelsea Robles
Pelvic Health & Movement Specialist
LPTA, LMT, LSVT, CPT, CNC

My mission is simple: to help women get out of cycles of abdominal and pelvic pain, empower them with tools that support lasting relief, and validate their experiences.

In many cases, I’m able to touch, reproduce, and help eliminate pains that women were told were “all in their head.

With nearly a decade of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in pelvic health, I’ve supported women through every stage of life — from pregnancy and postpartum recovery to chronic pelvic and abdominal pain, endometriosis, and perimenopause.

Like many of the women I work with, my story began with pain.

Several years ago, I began experiencing my own cycle of abdominal pain, bloating, and anxiety that left me feeling frustrated and disconnected from my body. Through that experience, I learned firsthand how deeply the gut and nervous system are linked — how changes in stress, digestion, and breath can create a ripple effect through the entire body.

The gut–brain axis isn’t just theory; I lived it.

My perspective on manual therapy shifted completely after experiencing visceral manipulation for myself. During my first training, I felt what it was like to finally take a full, deep breath — and later that evening, I was able to eat a full meal without pain for the first time in almost a year.

That insight now shapes every session I offer — blending abdominal massage, visceral manipulation, and targeted, highly skilled manual therapy.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll probably find me outdoors walking my dogs or on the sidelines cheering for the Gobles Tigers — where my husband, "Sal", is the strength coach and athletic trainer.

Nothing lights me up more than seeing women rediscover their strength and trust in their own bodies.

What is Visceral Manipulation?

Developed by Jean-Pierre Barral, Visceral Manipulation is a gentle, hands-on therapy that helps your body move and function more freely by working with the internal organs and the tissues that surround them. In a healthy body, every organ has its own natural rhythm and mobility, "an organ in good health has physiologic motion." But when there's tension, inflammation, or past trauma, these movements can become restricted, affecting how you feel not just in your gut, but throughout your whole body.

The body has an incredible way of adapting, it "hugs the lesion," meaning it compensates around restrictions to keep you going. But over time, these compensations can lead to pain, stiffness, or dysfunction in places you might not expect.

That’s where Visceral Manipulation comes in.

This work has been called the "missing link" to the neuromusculoskeletal system because it taps into the deep relationship between your organs, connective tissue, nervous system, and overall movement. Some even refer to it as "liquid osteopathy", a way of working with fluids, pressures, and sliding surfaces to restore natural motion and communication throughout the body.

It’s subtle and intuitive, "only the tissues know" where to go. My job is to listen with my hands and follow the body’s lead, helping it unwind from the inside out. Clients often say they feel lighter, more grounded, and more connected in their bodies after a session.

What is Craniosacral Therapy?

At the heart of craniosacral therapy is the dural fascia, a protective membrane that surrounds your brain, spinal cord, and sacrum. This membrane, known as the dural tube, houses and helps regulate cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), which cushions your central nervous system and supports healthy brain and spinal cord function.

The body has its own subtle rhythm, a natural ebb and flow of the cerebrospinal fluid, which can be felt throughout the entire system. This rhythm is often called the craniosacral rhythm, and it's as vital to your health as your heartbeat or breath.

But when there's tension, trauma (physical or emotional), or chronic stress, the dural fascia can become restricted, like a too-tight rubber band pulling on the brain, spine, or even the sacrum and tailbone. These restrictions can lead to symptoms like:

  • Migraines or chronic headaches

  • Jaw tightness or TMJ dysfunction

  • Pressure or pulling at the base of the skull

  • Sacral or coccyx pain

  • Nervous system dysregulation (such as anxiety or trouble sleeping)

Craniosacral therapy uses gentle touch, often no more than the weight of a nickel, to assess the motion of the craniosacral rhythm and help release these restrictions in the dural fascia. When the tissue begins to let go, it creates space for the nervous system to regulate itself, relieve pressure, and restore balance.

As Dr. John Upledger often said, “We listen to the body as it tells us where to go.” We’re not trying to fix you from the outside. We’re supporting your body’s innate ability to heal from the inside.
